From a retired Detroit lawyer’s vision to a living 90-acre legacy of healing, conservation, and community.
Founding
In 1999, Ina Zeemering began building a horse farm on 90 pristine acres in Oceola Twp., Michigan.
Foundation
The Zeemering Foundation was established in 2004 as a 501(c)(3) to preserve the land and expand its healing impact.
Mission
Provide natural settings for animals and people, support healing through animal connections, and promote ecological land use.
Evolution
Over 30 years, the Foundation added EAP, canine search & rescue, youth programs, co-housing, and veteran co-ventures.
